Purse/Wallet Protection

The safety of your purse and/or wallet isn’t as important as your life. Here are ways to keep your items protected to avoid potential theft.

● It's a good idea to avoid carrying a purse, if possible. Never carry anything you can't afford to lose.

 ● If you do need a purse, keep it across your chest and hold it tightly with your arm against your body.

● Keep your keys, wallet, or credit cards in pockets in your clothes and not in your hand.

● Carry only enough cash to get by for the day. Keep a record of your card numbers to call the credit card companies if something is lost or stolen.

● Be aware of suspicious persons or activity around an ATM. You can leave or cancel a transaction if you sense something isn't right. Then, come back another time when the area seems safe and vacant.
